We were very fortunate to be able to lease this gorgeous stallion, Marvelous Intrigue, in the spring of 2007. Thank you to his owner Ellie Mason of Marvelous Morgans for this wonderful opportunity. We have long been a fan of Ellie's bloodlines. Intrigue's sire, Marvelous Ideal, is our all time favorite and his blood runs through many of our horses.

Marvelous Intrigue was the Arizona Futurity Champion. He had multiple in hand championships as a youngster against all breeds. He was shown back east in hunter under saddle and model hunter classes. He was the 1996 Penn-Ohio Morgan Horse High Point Senior Hunter Pleasure Champion.

Intrigue produces foals with type, size and of course his gorgeous head and wonderful disposition. His offspring include winners in western pleasure, dressage and hunter pleasure. He also carries the splash white gene which may be the rarest of the pinto patterns. He is the sire of the Morgan mare Shahaylee who is the first homozygous splash white in the Morgan breed.

We fell in love with Marvelous Intrigue when he was here. He is very gentle and easy to handle. He has that people loving disposition we love so much about Morgan horses. The photos of Intrigue on this page were taken at our place when we leased him in 2007. He is 17 years of age in these photos. We are expecting 4 foals by him in the spring of 2009 and can't wait! Some will be probably be solid and some may carry a splash gene like him but we are sure of one thing, they will be gorgeous no matter how the package is wrapped!
