We are so excited to be able to lease RDK's Oregon Rising Son from Janene Ayer. Thank you Janene for making this possible. This palomino/splash stallion's barn name is Trigger. He is a son of Marvelous Intrigue and his color lines come from the same lines as our stallion Blacksaddle Starbuck. How lucky is that! Our favorite lines of Starbuck and Intrigue wrapped in gold with splash white accents!

Leasing Trigger came about unexpectedly. Ellie Mason, breeder of Marvelous Morgans and owner of Marvelous Intrigue, was here visiting. She was looking at our seven 2008 foals sired by Intrigue. We decided to call Janene and see if we could see Trigger, since he is the only palomino son of Intrigue. We did get to see him and Janene offered to lease him to me and here he is!

Janene is actually one of the first people (besides Ellie) I met when I got into Morgans. I was tracking down Marvelous Ideal bloodlines and Janene owned RDK's Shilo who is an Ideal son. We own a daughter of Shilo, Marble Mtn Splendor, who has produced some of our nicest foals. Janene loves these Marvelous Ideal bloodlines as much as we do. You just can't beat their disposition and beauty.

We also would like to thank Carol Dombrowsky of Oregon Morgans, owner of Blacksaddle Jasmine. Carol had leased Jasmine to Janene to create Trigger. Jasmine's palomino color comes down through her Lady Cheyenne lines which is the same color lines in Starbuck's pedigree. Jasmine sure put her deep gold color on Trigger with a super white mane and tail. You couldn't ask for a nicer colored palomino.

We will have more pictures of Trigger next spring and can't wait until spring of 2010 to have foals by him!
