(Blacksaddle Starbuck X KRP Pixie Pat) Foaled June 13, 2002 Spirit is a rare Perlino Morgan stallion, the product of a buckskin x buckskin cross. He will throw buckskin or palomino foals when bred to chestnut, bay or black mares, guaranteed! He has been tested by U C Davis and the results came back: Red Factor - Ee, Agouti - A. We feel so fortunate to have this beautiful Morgan stallion. After searching for just the right buckskin Morgan to add color to our breeding program we hit the jackpot when we were able to acquire Blacksaddle Starbuck. He was the one! The day Spirit was born the perlino dance began and we have been dancing ever since. To have 2 of Starbuck's sons here is a bit greedy on our part but we couldn't choose just one! Spirit & Gemini have so many of our favorite bloodlines behind them. Colorful Morgan greats Blacksaddle Starbuck & Sunup Neptune and the beautiful Lippitt Morgan stallion Marvelous Ideal make their pedigrees rich in type, beauty, color and disposition and it shows. Spirit a such a joy to be around. He is so sweet and gentle with spirit (he lives up to his name) and has been easy to train. He is fun to ride & is true to the Morgan traits we expect to find in all of our Morgans. Willingness to please, intelligence, kindness & character are the things we love most about this great breed, the Morgan horse. We have had several foals by Spirit now and he has proven himself each time producing correct typey foals with good minds. We couldn't be happier with the caliber of foals he produces.
